Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 10, 2026
Welcome to GLP-1 Meal Planner. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our web or mobile application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Nature of the Service
GLP-1 Meal Planner is an informational tool that:
- Provides meal suggestions tailored to individuals managing GLP-1 medication side effects.
- Accepts numerically expressed dose scheduling information (base dose amount and dose multipliers) to help predict injection cycle timing.
- Uses artificial intelligence to generate meal recommendations and answer dietary questions.
Critical limitations you must understand:
- Not a medical device: The Service is not a medical device, clinical decision support tool, or regulated health product. It has not been evaluated or approved by the US Food and Drug Administration, the Therapeutic Goods Administration, or any equivalent regulatory body.
- Not medical advice: Nothing in the Service — including any AI-generated response — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You must not rely on this Service as a substitute for professional medical supervision of your GLP-1 medication.
- No medication data collected: We do not collect the name, brand, type, or identity of your medication. The Service accepts only numerical dose amounts and multipliers, which it uses solely to calculate cycle timing. Any reference to "GLP-1 medication" in the Service is informational only.
- Verification obligation: AI-generated meal recommendations and cycle predictions are subject to error. You are responsible for verifying any information provided by the Service with your healthcare provider before acting on it.
2. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with any third party.
- Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access to your account.
You are solely responsible for all activity conducted under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Third-Party AI Model Processing
You expressly acknowledge and agree that:
The AI-assisted features of the Service operate by transmitting your queries and related context to third-party AI model providers. This is an integral and necessary part of the Service — AI-generated responses cannot be produced without this transmission.
Current AI model providers include, but may not be limited to:
- Anthropic (anthropic.com) — Claude family of AI models
- OpenAI (openai.com) — GPT family of AI models
- Google (google.com) — Gemini family of AI models
By using the Service, you consent to your queries being transmitted to these providers for processing.
Protections under our API arrangements:
- These providers process your data under our API service agreements, not as independent controllers of your data for their own purposes.
- Under those agreements, your query data is not used to train AI models.
- Your queries and responses are not retained by the AI provider beyond the time required to generate and return a response.
- We will notify you of any change in AI model provider with at least 14 days' notice where practicable.
As AI providers operate globally, your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Our Privacy Policy provides further detail on data flows and protections.
4. Data Use — No Sale, No Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, license, or otherwise commercially exploit your personal data.
Your data is used solely for:
1. Delivering the Service to you — generating meal recommendations, answering queries, and predicting your injection cycle schedule. 2. Operating and improving the Service — including internal monitoring of service reliability.
This data use commitment is a material term of this agreement. We do not share your personal data with any third party except as described in Section 3 (AI model providers) and in our Privacy Policy (infrastructure providers).
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or AI prompts underlying the Service.
- Introduce malware, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to process or store information belonging to third parties without their consent.
- Represent or imply that the Service provides medical advice or medical device functionality.
- Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or technical measures we implement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any breach of this section.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, design, trademarks, and content comprising the Service remain our exclusive property or that of our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
You retain ownership of the data you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that data for the purpose of providing the Service to you, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- No medical warranty: We make no representation or warranty that the Service's meal recommendations, cycle predictions, or AI-generated responses are accurate, complete, or appropriate for your individual medical circumstances. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.
- AI accuracy: AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.
- Service availability: We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, free from errors, or uninterrupted.
- No warranty: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising from your use of the Service, including any reliance on AI-generated meal recommendations, cycle predictions, or other content.
- We are not liable for any adverse health outcomes, medication interactions, or medical complications arising from use of or reliance on the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total fees (if any) paid by you in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence or fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes. Where we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' written notice.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or in-app notification before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are incorporated. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction for the resolution of any dispute arising under these Terms. Before commencing formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve disputes informally within 30 days of written notice of the dispute.
