- 2 g dried italian herb mix — crushed between fingers
- 1 g salt — fine
- 80 g wholegrain bread — 2 thin slices, lightly toasted
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the crumbled tofu, unflavoured protein powder, olive oil, water, matcha powder, dried Italian herb mix, and salt.
- Using a fork or small masher, mash the mixture until it becomes a smooth, spreadable paste, adding an extra 5–10 ml water if needed to reach a soft, creamy consistency.
- Lightly toast the wholegrain bread slices just until warm and slightly firm but not very crisp, to keep them gentle on the stomach.
- Spread the matcha-herb tofu mixture evenly over the warm toast slices, then cut each slice into 4 small squares or fingers for easy, bite-sized portions.
- Serve immediately, starting with one or two pieces and pausing to check fullness before eating more.
Tips for GLP-1 users
